INCENTIVES

(i) A trophy and a certificate

(ii) A cash of RM 50,000 (Fifty Thousand Ringgit) for the winner of Prime Minister's Industry Excellence Award

(iii) Eligible to use the logo of the Award for publicity purposes for three (3) years from the date of receiving the Award

- Eligible for tax exemption of 100% of value of increased export (VIE) for winner of Export Excellence Award (Merchandise and Services) or winner of Brand Excellence Award (Merchandise & Services). For the calculation of tax exemption, VIE to be exempted must not exceed 70% of statutory income of current year assessment. If the VIE exceed 70% of statutory income for the current year assessment, the balance or unutilised VIE will be carried forward for the next year assessment and onward until the VIE is fully utilised. Company must have at least 60% Malaysian equity to be eligible for the tax exemption. Any company which is already granted incentives under the Promotion of Investments Act, 1986 (except for deduction for promotion of exports) shall not be eligible for the tax incentive

(iv) Exemption from the total participation fee of RM19,500 for three (3) international trade fairs or RM1,500 for three (3) trade missions organized by MATRADE. This incentive must be utilized within three (3) years of receiving the Award.
vv) Exemption from the participation fees for exhibition space at the Malaysia Export Exhibition Centre (MEEC) at the MATRADE Headquarters and other MATRADE Trade Centre overseas for one exhibition session. The incentive must be utilised within three (3) years of receiving the Award.

(vi) To be given publicity by MATRADE offices overseas on the profile of company together with its products and services

(vii) To be featured in MATRADE’s publication and space to advertise company products/services in MATRADE’s export directory

(viii) To be given 20% discount on any programme organised by MPC

(ix) To be nominated for the Prime Minister's Award for Industry Excellence

(x) Company’s profile and its products/services will be published in Industry Excellence Awards Winner's Book for distribution to all MITI, MIDA and MATRADE offices as a promotional material

(xi) Company's profile and its products/services will be publicised in the websites of MITI, MPC, MATRADE and SIRIM

(xii)- Winners will be publicised in newspaper

(xiii) To be given priority for SMIDEC grants
