As the National Advanced Materials research entity, AMREC has the strategic role as the nucleus of development on advanced materials technology that is to explore the potential use of local commodities for higher value added applications, investigating the use of alternative new materials to reduce material consumption and cost and also to source for environmentally friendly substitute for safer and comfortable living environment.
