International Standardization

Malaysia is a member of International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Committee (IEC). SIRIM Berhad manages participation in these two organisations.

Currently, Malaysia is managing the secretariats of the following ISO/TC:

• ISO/TC 45 - Rubber and rubber products
• ISO/TC 45/SC 4 - Products (other than hoses)
• ISO/TC 157 - Mechanical contraceptives
• ISO/TC 45/SC 1 -  Hoses (rubber and plastics)

• Participation in ISO/TC
• Participation in IEC/TC
