This Malaysian Standard does not lay down radiographic criteria of acceptance and rejection for the joints, but in concern with the radiographic technique to be used. Since the quality of a radiograph cannot be fully ensured by the use of an image quality indicator (IQI), this standard indicates the method necessary to obtain comparable radiographs from different origins. Steel in this context covers stainless steel. This Malaysian Standard cancels and replaces MS 1317: Part 1:1993. | |
