Renewable Energy
SIRIM researchers can help businesses develop viable renewable energy technologies that take advantage of the country's rich, natural resources in solar, water and biomass waste. For example: Malaysia gets up to eight hours of sunlight everyday, which may be harnessed for solar energy, and the country's strong agricultural sector generates tonnes of waste that can be converted into biomass feedstock.
Our research revolves around:
RENEWABLE ENERGY AND APPLICATIONS
We are actively researching and developing renewable energy technologies and applications across solar, wind, biomass and hydro energy sources. Read More
ENERGY EFFICIENT PROCESS AND SYSTEMS
We provide process engineering consultancy services for cleaner production and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in line with renewable energy goals and energy efficiency targets. We also have a suite of services that addresses the growing need for mandatory and voluntary reporting of greenhouse gas emissions.
