Bio-Composite Green Furniture is the result of years of integrated research and development work on natural fiber-based composites. Bio-composites are an emerging class of material based on cellulosic fibers and thermoplastics. Beside its innovative features, the use of bio-composites are in line with the global effort on environmental conservation and contributes significantly towards addressing issues of depleting natural resources and other environmental issues. The Green Furniture is assembled using extruded rice husk-based bio-composite profiles.

The compounds used are made up of 70 % rice husk and thermoplastics materials. Compatibility of ingredients is enhanced through tailored bonding chemistry to ensure superior physical and mechanical properties. With adaptable design features and high dimensional stability, the products are suitable for use in many indoor furniture applications.
