The topics that were highlighted during the session include:

  1. ‘Testing and Certification as Competitive Advantage Strategy’
By Puan Rosniza Abdul Wab, Head of Marketing and Customer Experience, SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd
  2. ‘Competency Enhancement in Quality & Technology as Tools for Growth’

  3. ‘Tech Ecosystem as Collaborative Platform for Technology Commercialisation’
By En. Ajmain Kasim, Chief Executive Officer, SIRIM Tech Ventures Sdn Bhd

Group CEO of Cradle, Rafiza Ghazali said successful collaborations can unlock game-changing mutual benefits.
“We have long understood how important collaborations are. One party alone will find it difficult to address all of the challenges that we are facing now. This is why collaboration with strong focus on joint value propositions are so valuable. We are excited to be collaborating with SIRIM as we will be able to broaden the innovation value chain and address all fast moving challenges”.

According to Dato’ Dr Ahmad Sabirin Arshad, President & Group Chief Executive of SIRIM, innovation bridges the gap between research and the market by helping good ideas for innovative products, services and sustainable processes; become fully fledged commercial prospects, ready for use by business and industry. In doing so, the initiative helps Malaysia boosts its economic growth.

He added, “Cradle is a fund provider for technology-based companies and early start-up. We are more than pleased to collaborate with them, and I hope that the awareness talk today will be a precursor to more collaborative programmes in supporting start-up ecosystem in Malaysia”
