Tengku Intan Narqiah Tengku Othman has an extensive experience in leading and managing large and small teams across different cultures and countries, via local and virtual platform. She started her career as a Manager at SIRIM in 1995 and moved on to Shell Services International Sdn Bhd in August 2000 as the Senior Systems Engineer
She then served Shell Information Technology International Sdn Bhd as the Helpdesk Business Manager – Asia Pacific Middle East in March 2002 and the Global Request Management Business Manager in March 2004.
In September 2005, she was the Application Support Desk Manager – Asia Pacific Middle East at Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and joined Iskandar Investment Berhad as the Senior Vice President in October 2007.
She was also the CEO of Mynic Berhad in February 2011 before joining Mesiniaga Berhad as the General Manager & Head of Mesiniaga Services Sdn Bhd in January 2012. Later, she joined Qaaf Resources Sdn Bhd as the Director and Principal Consultant in February 2014.
Three years later, she joined Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad as the Senior Manager of Big Data Development before returning to SIRIM as Chief Digital and Information Officer to provide strategic and tactical leadership in developing roadmap and execution of digital short, mid and long-term strategies based on financial goals and digital transformation from brick age to digital age for SIRIM Group.
