One of the destructive test where the sample/product tested under heat treatment or certain condition in order to measure and detect the changes of the material properties affected by the temperature

Glass Transition temperature 75oc-4200C

Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is a thermoanalytical technique where the difference in the amount of heat required to increase the temperature of a sample and reference is measured as a function of temperature. Both the sample and reference are maintained. The major uses of thermal analysis are in polymer, phammaceutical, food and life sciences

The temperature range are from room temperature up to 500 oC. Reference standard used are hexatriocontane, Indium and Zink. The working environment is in nitrogen with flow rate 20ml/min. The standard used in this test is ASTM E 1356 – 08 (reapproved 2014) entitled Standard Test Method for Assignment of the Glass Transition Temperatures by Differential Scanning Calorimetry.
