SHAH ALAM, 20 Feb 2025: SIRIM Berhad continues to drive innovation by formalising strategic partnerships with Ensu Lifesciences Sdn Bhd (ELSB) through a Technology Licensing Agreement (TLA). The agreement marks a significant milestone in the technology transfer and commercialization of Acne & Blemish Control Skin Care Technology, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as an innovation-driven nation. The signing ceremony, held today, underscores SIRIM’s commitment to strengthening industry capabilities and capacities across various technology domains. With the Agreement, SIRIM is transferring the advanced scientific expertise in acne treatment solutions, reinforcing their position as a key industry player in Malaysia’s cosmetic and personal care sector.
This technology effectively combats acne and reducing scar formation through its potent antioxidant properties. The formula is safe, non-toxic, and free from harmful chemicals or agents. Teenagers or young adults, adults with persistent or hormonal acne and dermatology and skincare clinics are the main target market for this acne treatment solutions.
The Agreement was signed by Ir. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Izzal Ismail, Chief Technology Officer of SIRIM Industrial Research and Nur Farzana Suhana @ Husin, Chief Executive Officer of Ensu Lifesciences Sdn Bhd. The signing was witnessed by Dr. Fazilah Fazan, Senior Director of Life Sciences Centre, SIRIM Industrial Research and Puan Nur Faizureen Suhana @ Husin, Director of Ensu Lifesciences Sdn Bhd.
Ir. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Izzal Ismail during his speech stated as a government-mandated agency, SIRIM is dedicated to advancing industrial research, enhancing technical processes, and fostering the utilization of Malaysian-developed products, technologies, and services.
