Mohd Rashid Mohd Yusof began his career with PETRONAS, where he held senior finance roles including Head of Group Accounting, Head of Group Treasury and Head of Group Internal Audit, as well as Finance Director of Engen Limited. He later assumed leadership positions as CEO of MITCO Sdn Bhd and MD/CEO of Engen Limited in South Africa. His final role prior to retiring in 2016 was Vice President of Supply Chain & Risk Management in PETRONAS.

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA.

He currently serves as an Independent Director of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad and Worldwide Holdings Berhad. His previous listed company directorships include Velesto Energy Berhad, Scicom (MSC) Berhad and Media Prima Berhad.
