Bio-Medical 

Biomedical initiates and delivers innovative application and solutions within the medical sector. This includes metallic implants for fracture, bioceramics for bone's defects, wound management, craniofacial and biomodelling services and many more. With reconstructive surgery being a delicate art, medical professionals are now capable of meeting the challenge of treating patients without substantial destruction to human tissue. It also comes with the prospect of offering aesthetically pleasing results.

Biomedical is located at the heart of Kulim Hi-Tech Park. Biomedical houses the state of the art equipment that is designed to meet the future challenge of Malaysian's healthcare. This is supported by its satellite laboratories at SIRIM Bukit Jalil.​​

Nanotechnology

With environmental concerns on a global scale and the quest to find more efficient and clean energy sources, Solar and Energy Storage are becoming more apparent as a substitute to conventional sources. However, its application and progress require more research and development to reach the heights of what is expected. IC Innovation in energy management’s core competency are centred on developing total solutions to industries in the area related to energy efficiency, renewable technology and energy storage. The centre has established collaboration with various international, local institutes and industries in consultancy and research projects, to find ways to promote more acceptance of renewable energy in the marketplace.​

Bio-Natural Gas

Bio Natural Gas (BioNG) forte lies solely in enabling innovative solutions in production, distribution and utilisation of Compressed Bio Natural Gas (CBG). Its key purpose is to integrate activities involved in improving efficiency and productivity of the Bio Natural Gas supply chain as a sustainable energy source.​
