SIRIM's Industrial Research Advisory Council (IRAC) held its meeting in SIRIM headquarters in Shah Alam today, among other things, to discuss strategic guidance and setting up of future research direction for SIRIM Industrial Research in supporting the national agenda and industrial technology development for the country.
The Council is composed of 17 Members: Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB), Technology Deposition Agency (TDA), Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (MGTC), Group Technical Solutions Project Delivery & Technology, Petronas, Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, Hitachi Asia (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., DreamEdge Sdn. Bhd., Huawei Technologies (M) Sdn. Bhd., Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), Microsoft Malaysia, National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and SIRIM Industrial Research (SIRIM).
